But will we call it snow globe because it includes Snow in a globe. Yes. :)
I saw these adorable little displays at one of my favorite stores and decided they would not be hard to make.
Finding the supplies was not too hard... I first headed to my local goodwill for some jars and a local flea market where I found the sphere. Cost of jar- $0.69 Cost of Sphere- $6.00
While at the flea market I found contents for the inside of my globes. 1. Mr. Reindeer- $2.00 2. Bottle brush tree- $2.50 and a larger white glitter tree- $4.50
I then needed to get started. I first started with the jar arrangement. Choosing the large tree that I bought, I got glued the tree to the lid of the jar.
then you fill your container with snow, flip over onto lid, Shake, and screw on tightly. My kids have enjoyed shaking the container over and over allowing more glitter snow to cover the tree.
With the other container, I needed to make a base. I decided to use a paper doilie. {I love using these anytime I can, they are cheap, and they remind me of Grandma:)
I attached the deer, and bottle brush tree to the paper doilie, added snow and then hot glued the sphere on the edges and placed on top of the display. I then cut out cardboard{not shown} and hot glued to the bottom of the doilie to secure for shaking purposes.
