Vintage Treats

photography by vintage treats
I have done photography for a few years. I actually bought my first camera to be able to take quality pictures of my vintage finds that I sell online. Then people started asking me to take their pictures. After doing shoot after shoot I found myself being unhappy. I did not just want to take pictures of people. I did not want to do studio looking work that looked like everyone else. I went on a journey to find my niche'.
I love old pictures. I have many black and white photos of my ancestors that make me smile. These tell the story of my life. The people before me. I love polaroid and 60's pictures of my parents.
I love all things vintage. I love anthropologie magazines and vintage clothes. My home is filled with vintage goods that I find while out hunting for treasures. I am always on the hunt for a good peice.
So, It came to me one day. I realized that I needed to incorporate my love for vintage looks into my photography. I have done a variety of shoots that have had a vintage feel to them and I LOVE them. They encapsulate my personality and my customers are happy because they had the same vision. We share the love of vintage.
So, I am embarking on the new journey of "Vintage Treats" where I will be offering vintage inspired work that refects my personality. It will involve not only photography, where I will specialize in vintage looking work only, but projects, vintage finds, and all sorts of special "treats" for you to follow and purchase. I want Vintage Treats to inspire people that share the same love for vintage things that I do.
I want to take a moment to thank ALL of the people that have allowed me to take their pictures over the last few years. Because of you all, I am where I am today
